Michigan Breast Oncology Quality Initiative

Launched in 2006, the MiBOQI is the first statewide effort to examine practice patterns in surgical, radiation and medical oncology with the purpose of improving breast cancer treatment and outcomes. The CQI is helping hospitals and associated medical practices compare treatment methods with nationally accepted treatment guidelines.

Results are expected to become available later in 2009.
