
Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Consortium Program Leads
Kavitha Chinnaiyan, M.D.
Dr. Kavitha Chinnaiyan, program director for the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Consortium is also the medical director of Noninvasive Cardiology Education in the Cardiology Division of William Beaumont Hospital. She is engaged in a broad spectrum of cardiovascular research and is a full-time imaging and research faculty member. Dr. Chinnaiyan has authored abstracts, papers and book chapters and has lectured in the area of cardiac imaging. She is currently the president, Board of Directors, American Heart Association (Southeast Michigan) and the medical chair, Go Red for Women, 2010 Detroit Chapter of the American Heart Association.
Ann DePetris, R.N., M.S.A., CCRP
Ann DePetris, program manager for the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Consortium, has been working on the registry since its inception in 2006. Her background includes critical care nursing and administration, and she has co-authored a textbook for health care professions on medical terminology. DePetris has been a faculty member at Oakland University and is currently teaching at Oakland Community College. She is engaged in cardiology research with a focus on coronary CTA. DePetris is the program manager for CT/MRI Cardiac Research at William Beaumont Hospital and coordinates multi-center national trials involving coronary CTA.

Gloria Kopper, R.N., MSA, CCRC
Administrative Manager
Donna McIntyre, B.B.A., CCRP, is the data manager of the BRCC. She has worked for 14 years in data management at William Beaumont Hospital. McIntyre manages all aspects of clinical research data at the Coordinating Center. Her experience includes investigator-initiated single-center studies to multi-center, international clinical trials. Prior to joining the BRCC, McIntyre managed data for critical care mortality trends and orthopedic outcomes research. She has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Rochester College.
About the Coordinating Center
The Beaumont Research Coordinating Center at William Beaumont Hospital was selected as the ACIC Coordinating Center. The BRCC provides services including clinical trial and data management, protocol development, report generation, biostatistical support, preparation of case report forms, manuals of operation and other documents, and assistance with obtaining regulatory agency approvals.
